How Tideroe started
Tideroe began with a small, stubborn complaint: the first thing too many of us do at the end of the day is reach behind our back and unhook. A wire dug in, a tag itched, a band left a pink crease across the ribs. Underwear — the layer worn closest and longest — somehow ended up being the layer people most wanted to take off.
We wanted to build the opposite of that. Not a "revolutionary" bra, not a shape-shifting brief, not anything that promised to fix a body. Just a quiet set of basics you could pull on in the morning and genuinely forget about by lunch.
What we actually changed
So we made a short list and refused to add to it:
- No wires, anywhere. Every bra uses a one-piece ribbed underband and soft removable cups instead of hardware.
- No stitched tags. Care info is printed on the inside, so there's nothing to scratch the back of your neck or your underband.
- Edges that vanish. Briefs are laser-cut at the legs so they don't show through fitted clothes — no roll-down at the waist, either.
- A fit range that actually fits. XS to XXL in every core style, tuned on more than one body type.
The fabric is a stretch-soft nylon-spandex blend, with a cotton inner liner where it counts. The colors are deliberately low-key — bare apricot, oat white, deep pine — chosen to disappear under whatever you wear on top of them.
How we make it easy to try
Underwear is the one category you really do have to wear to know. So we built a 30-day at-home try-on window into every order: keep them, return them, swap a size, swap a color — return shipping is on us. We'd rather you find the right fit than feel stuck with the wrong one.
What we don't claim
We don't make health claims. We don't promise to lift, slim, sculpt, prevent, or improve anything about your body. We're not a medical product and we're not a shapewear brand. We're a basics brand, and our job is to make the layer underneath quieter so the rest of your day can be louder.
